Nigerian football has again received another major knock as World Football governing body , yesterday, announced the appointment of match officials for football events at the 2024 Olympic Games with Nigerian referees missed out.

Assistant referees from Africa include, Ahmed Liban Abdoulrazack from Djibouti, Chikotesha Diana from Zambia, Jermouni Fatiha from Morocco, Noupue Elvis from Cameroun, Santos Jerson Emiliano Dos from Angola, and Yiembe Stephen from Kenya. The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria Chairman Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi has led a Nigerian delegation to the office of Mu’assasa, Ithraa al khair in Jeddah to finalise issues and modalities surrounding Masha’ir outing for the 2024 Hajj.
