The Nation Newspaper Afenifere remembers first civilian governor of Ogun, Bisi Onabanjo

The pan-Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, on Sunday, April 14, urged aspiring politicians and political office holders to emulate former Ogun state governor, late Victor Olabisi Onabanjo, in their conducts and policy implementation.

“His legacies, among many others, include Ogun State University .“His tenure witnessed tremendous positive developments across the 20 local governments of Ogun State. He was not after personal or family benefits, but the interest of the common man/woman on the street in accordance with the ethos of Afenifere, “life more abundant for the people.

“A politician can leave a good name after his/her demise, which generations after the person would remember for the benefit of his/her descendants.”
