Amavubi captain Djihad Bizimana says the players are ready to give their all to beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Torsten Spittler's side will be hoping to record their first win in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series when they entertain their highly-rated opponent at the Amahoro Stadium on Tuesday. The East Africans held Libya to a 1-1 draw in their matchday one encounter last week.
The Super Eagles thrashed Benin Republic 3-0 in their opening fixture with Ademola Lookman scoring brace and substitute Victor Osimhen also on target. The attacking duo may pose a major threat to the Rwandans. However, Bizimana trusts his teammates that they have all it takes to stop the Super Eagles at all cost. “We are going to give 150%. It would be difficult for us if we do less than that,” the Kryvbas midfielder told a press conference on Monday.
