The former governor said that the road was too important to the economy of Ondo and Ekiti states as well as the well-being of the people of the two states to be neglected completely by the Federal Government.

He, therefore, urged the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, to use his good offices to ensure that the road gets the required attention, noting that “in the last one year, the road has become so bad that only people unmindful of its deplorable state use it.”
