Kunle DaramolaAdewole Adebayo, 2023 presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party , says the outcome of Edo election shows that Nigerians have not reached their breaking point under the All Progressives Congress .Monday Okpebholo of the APC as the winner, with 291,667 votes, defeating Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party , who garnered 247,655 votes. Labour Party’s Olumide Akpata finished third with 22,763 votes.
“But when I saw how people voted in the Edo state election, I realised that I was exaggerating the pain of the people. So I think maybe Nigerians have not reached the limit of their shock absorber yet.”
