But, in a statement signed by its Chairman, Mr Akinade Ogunsola and Secretary, Mr Taofeek Adedeji, the Concerned Citizens of Oyo State called on Makinde to appoint another person without a case at the EFCC.
The group said that the visitation panel was set-up by the immediate past administration of late Gov. Abiola Ajimobi and the report submitted to the governor’s office on Feb. 19, 2020. The group said, “We are calling on Gov. Seyi Makinde to remove Ogundiran as Chairman, Governing Council of the institution based on the white paper report of the visitation panel which indicted him and some others.“Also, this institution is owned by the entire state and not Ibarapa, so we want the governor to look into the domineering posture of the Ibarapa people in the governance of the institution”.
