The Nation Newspaper Adeleke’s presentation of staff of office to appointed Osun monarch stalled
The presentation of staff of office to appointed Olola of Ola, Oba Johnson Ajiboye by Governor Ademola Adeleke was foiled over the weekend as police operatives took over the community to enforce the court ruling sacking the monarch.recalled that Adeleke appointed Johnson Ajiboye as Olola of Ola after the State Executive Council meeting in January 2024 which was opposed because of pending court proceedings.
Meanwhile, on Friday and Saturday, police took over the venue where the programme had been fixed to take place to enforce the court ruling declaring the stool vacant pending the determination of the suit.
