The Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Ladi Adebutu, says he had not been invited by the police over the allegation of vote buying.
Adebutu while reacting to the suit against him at the High Court over alleged voting buying, insisted that he was neither invited by the police nor served any court document regarding the suit.
The office of the Attorney-General had reportedly filed a suit against Adebutu and nine others over the allegation of money laundering and vote buying. “We are just seeing it also in the media and I will just want to make some points clear, Oladipupo Adebutu has not been served with any court document as regards any charges except for the media trial that we are seeing all around to mislead the public and the Tribunal.”
