The chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kogi state, Kingsley Temitope Oggah, has been suspended over alleged misappropriation of funds, and other anti-party activities.
The suspension was contained in a statement signed by the State Deputy Chairman, MomohJimoh Sule Gomina on Monday after the state executive council meeting in Lokoja.
According to him, Oggah attempts to destabilise the party through undue negative publicity in contravention of the Oath of office. He added that Oggah also committed other offences like embezzlement of funds that were meant for the Ward office accommodation; misappropriation of funds for the just concluded primary elections, and non-payment of wards dues.
