The state Ministry of Health and Human Service disclosed this at a meeting to mobilise stakeholders against the disease in Yola.
She said cholera was first detected in Gogora, a community in Girei Local Government Areas on the 30th of June, 2021, followed by Yola North and South, Shelleng LGA, Garkida town in Gombi LGA, and Mubi North and South LGAs.“The cases are increasing by the day, that is why this stakeholders meeting is very important,” she said
Speaking about polio resurgence in the state, the health ministry official said only one case was identified.
