“This is to inform the general public that the newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of zone 3 command headquarters, in person of AIG Daniel Sokari Pedro, psc, mni, has assumed duty,” the Zone 3 Police Command said in a statement.
The statement, signed by Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Yusuf Muhammed, added that Daniel Sokari was before now the Deputy Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil, Kano State. “The AIG is saddled with the responsibility of supervising the affairs of the Policing in both Adamawa and Taraba states,” the statement explained.
It said the AIG assured the general public of his readiness in policing the two states under his watch and urged members of the public to continue supporting the police to achieve desired results of securing lives and property.
