Canberra's lockdown is extended for at least another two weeks as ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr says the number of cases still infectious in the community is of concern.

"Today's headline case numbers show that we are bending the curve down and we are getting on top of the outbreak. However, it is a slow process and it will take more time," Mr Barr said. "Any ongoing chains of transmission or cases with an unconfirmed source contributes to an increased risk to our community," Dr Coleman said.
