Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has called on the wives of police officers to acquire medical skills in order to look after the health of their
Abiodun said when police officers’ wives are equipped with medical knowledge, it will help protect them from diseases.
In his speech, Abiodun told the POWA members that basic health knowledge like knowing one’s blood pressure and general health status, as well as regular medical check-ups, have become imperative to safeguard the well-being and wellness of their members and spouses. Abiodun, who was represented by his deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, also added that various vocational training programmes embarked upon by his administration would be of benefit to POWA members.
