The candidate of Accord in the forthcoming Kogi gubernatorial election, Vice Admiral Jibrin Usman (Rtd), has asked the All Progressives Congress (APC) of
government in the state to provide a detailed account of how it utilised the 13 percent derivation funds received from the federal government in the last eight months.
A statement by Usman’s campaign council signed by its youth spokesperson, Comrade Samuel A Danjuma, said “the call for transparency and accountability underscores the importance of informing the people of Kogi State about the use of these funds, which are intended for the state’s development.”
