Police operatives have arrested one Meshack Sinuphro, who allegedly absconded with Benz GLB 250 in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.while test-driving the vehicle belonging to a car dealer, Mohammed Manga in Abuja last week.on Tuesday, after the police tracked it down and the suspect reportedly abandoned it in a bush.
Meshack Sinuphro, who was earlier declared wanted, was on Thursday, arrested in Benin City, the Edo State capital. The Edo Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Udafe, confirmed the arrest in a tweet on his official handle on Thursday evening. He wrote, “The suspect, Meshack Sinuphro, who allegedly stole the Benz at Abuja while pretending to be a buyer, has been arrested by the Command Decoy Squad today in Benin City.
“The suspect will be transferred to FCT command soonest. Always report crimes to the police, and we will always deliver”.
