Abuja Court Warns Director-General Of Department Of State Services To Release Five BuhariMustGo Protesters Or Risk Jail | Sahara Reporters
Human rights lawyer, Tope Temokun, has sought a notice from the Federal High Court in Abuja warning Yusuf Bichi, Director-General of the Department of State Services , to comply with the court order and release the five #BuhariMustGo protesters who were arrested at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre Church in Abuja.
The judge, Justice Anwuli Chikere in his ruling, had ordered that the DSS should release the applicants with immediate effect.Owing to the non-compliance of the order, Temokun, the activists’ lawyer went to court seeking the execution of the order. “Take notice that unless you obey the directions contained in this endorsed ORDER , you shall be guilty of contempt of Court and will be liable to be committed to prison,” the notice by the court registrar reads.
