The Abuja Municipal Council has appointed Mr Ibrahim Pam as the substantive Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the council’s owned broadcasting outfit.
This is contained in a statement signed by the council’s spokesman, Mr Kingsly Madaki, and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Thursday.
The statement added that the appointment of Pam was duly approved by the council Chairman, Mr Christopher Maikalangu, which took immediate effect.Maikalangu enjoined the new MD to justify the confidence reposed on him, advising him to harness the opportunities in the council to generate more revenue to the station.
Prior to his appointment, Pam was the Special Assistant on Media and Information Technology to a former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Bamanga Tukur. Pam was also a member of the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda in Zamfara, and currently holds the position of Chairman of the Abuja Gymnastics Sports Association.All rights reserved.
