Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, yesterday, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi in Sagamu.

Son of the deceased, Jenriyi Osinowo ; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun and the widow of the deceased, Mrs. Oluyemi Osinowo, at the final burial of Prof Gbolade Osinowo at the Emmanuel Anglican Church, Ojowo, Ijebu-Igbo…yesterdayAbiodun expressed shock at the demise of the late first Professor of Medicine in the country, saying the deceased represented one of the best and brightest that Ogun State would ever hoped for.

Earlier, at the funeral service for Prof Gbolade Osinowo, the former Chief of Staff to President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, at Ijebu Igbo, identified these characteristics as virtues Nigerians must hold on to during these difficult times, assuring citizens that the hard time that the country is currently passing through will soon subside.

“These are very difficult times in the history of this state, very difficult times in the history of this country. Abiodun stated that Osinowo stood by the truth and the state and the country, as a whole would miss him.
