Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, yesterday, gave a resounding hope to Nigerians amid crisis caused by naira swap following redesign of N200, N500 and N1000 notes.
Gov eulogises late Dagburewe, says monarch lived exemplary life
Abiodun, who confirmed his conversation with the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria , Godwin Emefiele, said that the CBN governor after meeting with managing directors of commercial banks in the country, had agreed to go with the pronouncement of the Supreme Court that the old naira notes should serve as legal tender till December 31, 2023.
IN another development, Abiodun has described the late Dagburewe of Idowa, Oba Yinusa Adekoya, as an exemplary man of distinguished character who loved his community and worked for its development. “He was an exemplary man of distinguished character and integrity. He was very knowledgeable and represented the Awujale of Ijebuland very well.
