Abia Govt, health workers meet, resolve to end strike

The Abia State Government and State Executive Council of Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU) and Assembly of Health Professionals on Thursday met and

The health unions also resolved to resurrect the suspended strike action in accordance with labour laws should the state government renege on the agreement reached.

The state government with the health workers further equally resolved that payment of CONHESS should be implemented as directed by the governor while paying the next salary of Hospitals Management Board , Local Governments Health Care Workers, Social Workers in Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
