Enyimba players have been rewarded with N20m by Abia State Governor, Alex Otti for winning the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier League title.
The Peoples’ Elephant claimed a historic ninth domestic title at the NPL Super Six playoffs in Lagos last month.
Erstwhile chairman of the club, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, head coach Finidi George, his assistants and other support staff will get varying sums for their efforts. The players and their officials were hosted by the governor last weekend at the Government House, Umuahia. Enyimba is expected in Lagos this week where they will compete in the Naija Super 8 pre-season tournament.
