Abia election: APGA chairman asked to resign over poor performance

Recall that DAILY POST had reported that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was declared the winner of the 2019 gubernatorial election in Abia state. The APGA chieftain made the call in a letter addressed Ehiemere, and made available to reporters on Sunday, in Umuahia. “We need to rebuild APGA in Abia state, and a comprehensive overhaul is needed to reposition the Party in the state. You’re not ebullient enough to lead that change. You should leave that position for someone that has better wit, passion and charisma, which you obviously lack to take over the headship of the Party. We must be holding people accountable for poor showings. The Buck stops at your desk in the state. You must resign your position. It is the honorable thing to do.
