The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at the just-concluded 2023 governorship election in Abia State, Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has
sent message to the winner and the Labour Party candidate, Alex Otti, on his emergence as the governor-elect of the state after a keenly contested poll.
The INEC Returning Officer for Abia State, Professor Nnenna Oti announced the winner after collation of results of the governorship election from the last local government area, Obingwa. Earlier, Bishop Onuoha, while baring his mind in a statement on Friday, opined the outcome of the poll was a clear indication that Abia people truely yearned for change in the state’s political leadership, and also are expectant of a difference.
He expressed confidence in the ability of the Abia’s governor-elect to address numerous challenges in the best interest of the state.
