In the governor’s correspondence to the lawmakers dated August 21, 2019 and read on the floor of the chamber by Speaker Yakubu Danladi Salihu, the financial document has a recurrent expenditure of N97,221,983,006 as against the former N121,846,573,912 tally, amounting to a 21 per cent decrease.The speaker, after calling on House Leader Abubakar Olawoyin Mogaji to lay the estimates, directed the Committee on Rules and Business to slate the revised budget for second reading.
