Abdullahi Sule, governor of Nasarawa, says he will appeal the judgement of the election petitions tribunal that nullified his victory at the poll.

The Independent National Electoral Commission declared Sule as winner of the governorship election held on March 18 after polling 347,209 votes.Sule’s victory after two out of the three judges on the panel declared David Ombugadu of the Peoples Democracy Party as the winner.Reacting to the verdict, Sule described it as a “temporary setback”.
