Chukwudozie Nwangwu, a native doctor in Anambra, has been released by his abductors.that the popular native doctor identified as “Akwa Okuko Tiwaraki” was abducted in Oba, Idemili north LGA of the state.

The native doctor was said to have been kidnapped from his hotel room on Sunday night, while two of his personal aides were wounded.Advertisement At the time, Tochukwu Ikenga, the state police spokesperson, had said the abductors contacted friends and relatives and demanded about N300 million.“I have information that he has been released by his abductors and we are making efforts to get information behind what happened”, he said.The spokesperson added that he has information that the victim’s family did not pay the ransom.
