Abba Yusuf, governor of Kano, has submitted a list comprising 19 names, including his deputy, to the state assembly as commissioner nominees.
Jibrin Falgore, the speaker of the house, confirmed the submission of the list that has 19 names during a plenary session on Tuesday.Also on the list is Baba Dantiye, former president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors .Others are Haruna Doguwa, Abubakar Yusuf, Musa Shanono, Aisha Saji, Ladidi Garko, Yusuf Kofar-Mata and Nasiru Garo.
The rest are Ali Makoda, Danjuma Mahmud, Abbas Abbas, Adamu Kibiya, Safiyanu Hamza, Tijjani Auwal, Haruna Dederi, Adamu Kibiya, Marwan Ahmed, Digwal Muhammad and Taju Zaura. Meanwhile, Muhammad Butu Butu, deputy speaker of the house, alongside Aminu Ungoggo, a lawmaker representing Ungoggo constituency, moved for the timely screening and confirmation of the nominees.
