The Oyo State chapter of the African Action Congress (AAC) has lambasted the state governor, Seyi Makinde, for building “modern” motor parks in the state while roads in the state are in terrible conditions. The party in a statement released by its Oyo State chairman, Kayode Babayomi, said it is “abysmal to see a governor building 'modern' motor parks when the roads that lead to those various parks are nothing to write home about'. The party referred to a Yoruba adage that says “The hand leads in a dance”.
