Buhari who spoke yesterday, in Uyo during a Town hall meeting to thank supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for their votes on February 23 poll, said it was not possible for Senator Godswill Akpabio to have lost out in the election.Represented by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, he assured party supporters and candidates that all the wrongs done the party during the Presidential and National Assembly elections would be addressed.
“It is not possible that Senator Akpabio lost out. We are in no doubt that Senator Akpabio is the elected senator of Akwa Ibom North West senatorial district. We were in opposition for 16 years. Now that we are at the centre, nobody can cheat us again. We have been cheated for too long. “It is the duty of the Federal Government to provide security and we will do that. But what is important is that you go out to vote. We will recover every of our vote.”
