Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno, has challenged permanent secretaries in the state government employ to work for the actualisation of the vision of his government as captured in the blueprint of his administration, ‘the ARISE Agenda’.
Presenting the ARISE Agenda through the state Head of Civil Service, Elder Effiong Essien, Eno directed that henceforth, memos from Ministries, Departments and Agencies are to reflect the plans of the government as captured in the agenda in various sectors. He charged the ministries on the need to be proactive in updating the public on activities of government as they relate to their departments.
Eno insisted that as public servants, they are duty bound to inform and educate the masses on programmes of the government.
