A-Court replies PDP, says Justice Oyewole not on Osun Gov Appeal Panel vanguardngr.com vanguardnews
The panel was constituted to hear an appeal seeking to reverse the majority judgment of the Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal that sacked Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the APC from office.
Specifically, PDP, through its National Working Committee, said it was vehemently opposed to the inclusion of Justice Joseph Oyewole as a member of the Osun State Governorship Election Appeal Tribunal. “Our grounds of objection against Justice Oyewole’s membership of the appeal panel are as follow: Oyewole is an indigene of Osun State and he had served as a High Court Judge of Lagos State and had thus served under the administration of Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu while he was the governor of Lagos State.
“Our party and candidate hold that justice must not only be done, but also manifestly seen to be done in this matter”, PDP stated through its National Publicity Secretary, Mr. Kola Ologbondiyan.
