$9.6B P&ID Scam: Buhari govt slams fresh six separate charges on British national, others
P&ID, an Irish engineering company, had secured a $9.6B award against Nigeria following the non-execution of a 20-year gas and supply processing agreement the company had with the federal government.At the resumed court session on Tuesday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arraigned Nolan alongside Lurgi Consult LTD on eight counts of money laundering.
In another charge labeled , the EFCC preferred six counts against Nolan and Babcock Electrical Projects LTD. In the sixth charge marked FHC/AB)/CR/148/20, Nolan and Ecophoenix Nigeria LTD are slammed with a six-count charge.Despite not having legal representatives, the court entered a “not guilty” plea for all six companies.
