The Founder, Ajayi Polytechnic, Ikere Ekiti, Dr Busayo Ajayi, says that no fewer than 700 students of the institution have benefited from its scholarship programme.

He said, “To remain focused on our vision, we ensure that all our students acquire at least one skill before they graduate. Looking back, with a deep sense of appreciation to God, all our targets have been met so far”.

The Executive Secretary of the State Scholarship Board, Mrs Bosede Jegede, who represented Ekiti State Government, said that the training acquired would go a long way in shaping the graduates’ lives and ensuring that they impacted positively on Nigeria through their various endeavours. The Acting Rector, Dr. Bolanle Ajayi, said that the institution had witnessed tremendous growth in areas including infrastructural development, the establishment of an entrepreneurship unit, vocational programmes, and the establishment of the NABTEB Centre for Ordinary Level students.

She, however, solicited support for the polytechnic from philanthropists, lovers of education, and well-meaning Nigerians “to be able to achieve our mission and vision”.All rights reserved.
