The Oyo State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arraigned a 68-year old lecturer, Dr Ajelere Ajewumi, for allegedly defiling a 14-year-old girl.
The command also arraigned another 60-year-old, Kayode Akinsile, for alleged defilement of another minor. The Commandant of the NSCDC in the state, Michael Adaralewa, said this in a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the NSCDC in Oyo State, Oluwole Olusegun, on Thursday.The NSCDC PRO said a Chief Magistrate, P. O. Adetoyibo. of Family Court 2, Iyaganku, Ibadan, remanded the two accused in prison till September.
The commandant said the two suspects were arraigned after forensic examination and thorough investigation were carried out.
