The Kano State Police Command said it had arrested 45 persons for violating the lockdown order in the state.
The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Habu Sani, disclosed this while giving an update on the enforcement of lockdown imposed on the state.
The commissioner, who is the Chairman, Security Committee on COVID-19, said 30 other persons arrested for the same offence had been convicted. Meanwhile, one of the three patients who tested positive for COVID-19 in Kano State and went into hiding, has been arrested.
