The Kwara State Command, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC, has arrested a 42-year-old man, Abdulsalam Ajibola for alleged impersonation.
Abdulsalam Ajibola, according to the Civil Defence Corps, allegedly impersonated a soldier to defraud some Nigerians.
Spokesman of the Command, Ayeni Olasunkanmi, in Ilorin on Monday, disclosed that the suspect was tracked down at Oke-Onigbin, in Isin Local Government Area of Kwara State on the 24th of March,2023 by the tracking Unit of the Command. The suspect allegedly impersonated a Soldier to defraud Abdullahi Saheed of N700,000 and Ropo Gabriel to the tune of N96,000 having promised to help them get admission into Nigeria Defence Academy , Kaduna.
He was also alleged to have falsely taken a Toyota Picnic car from one Prophet Samuel Olugbemiga for Commercial transportation after which he absconded.Related Topics:
