The Ogun State Police Command has paraded 25 suspects arrested within the last three weeks for various crimes, including kidnapping, murder, and cultism. Among the suspects are Afeez Ayeteru, accused of beheading an 80-year-old woman, and twin brothers Taiwo and Kehinde Yemitan, who allegedly killed and dismembered a woman for ritual purposes.

The Ogun State Police Command paraded 25 suspected criminals for a variety of crimes, including kidnapping, murder, and cultism. Commissioner of Police Lanre Ogunlowo, while parading the suspects on Monday at the command's headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta, said the arrests were made within the last three weeks. Those paraded include Afeez Ayeteru, who allegedly beheaded an 80-year-old woman, identified as Aduke, with a knife in the Ado-Odo Ota area of the state.

Ayeteru was said to have entered the victim's apartment to carry out the brutal act. The commissioner said: 'Responding swiftly to a distress call, the police rushed to the scene. As the suspect attempted to flee, a neighbour raised the alarm, enabling officers to apprehend him.' Also paraded were 45-year-old twin brothers Taiwo Yemitan and Kehinde Yemitan, who allegedly killed and dismembered the body of a woman known as Darasimi for rituals in the Lafenwa area of Abeokuta. One of the twin brothers, Taiwo Yemitan, who confessed to selling human parts killed by others, said the victim was his friend and that it was his first time killing someone. Ogunlowo, while warning criminals in the state to desist from their actions or face the wrath of the law, noted that the suspects would face charges in court once the investigation was completed. He urged members of the public to continue providing timely information to aid the police in preventing and addressing criminal activities
