A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has said that the mammoth crowd that received former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, on his return to Port Harcourt on Wednesday is a clear message that the 2027 election will usher in a new government across the country, particularly in Rivers State.

Eze, in a statement on Thursday, hinted that Amaechi's moves ahead of 2027 had sent serious shockwaves into the camps of political adversaries and rival groups.

reported on Wednesday that the former Rivers governor revealed that the coalition leaders will fully support whoever emerged as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections. Eze revealed that Amaechi's role in the emergence of the coalition, which adopted the African Democratic Congress, ADC, as the vehicle to unseat the President Bola Tinubu-led APC government is relative to the same energy he deployed in 2015 to birth and bring the APC to power.
