The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele on Tuesday said the opposition political parties can only unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027 if they form a coalition.
Ayodele made it known that if the major opposition parties, including Peoples Democratic Party, PDP , Labour Party, LP, and New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP , don’t unite, efforts to win the election would be futile. In a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the prophet noted that the opposition political parties need to come together and field a candidate that is rugged and has the capacity or else, it will be a smooth ride for Tinubu in 2027.
Ayodele said: “If PDP, Labour, NNPP don’t unite to form a coalition and propose one rugged and solid candidate for the 2027 presidential election, they won’t be able to unseat President Tinubu. 'It will be a smooth ride for the president in 2027 except there is a strong coalition from the major political parties.” In PDP especially, Ayodele noted that if the party was thinking of standing alone and fielding Atiku Abubakar, there would be no victory for them.
