Sao Tome and Principe were scheduled to take on the Super Falcons in a first round qualifying fixture later this month. DAILY POST learnt the country’s football authorities have already communicated their decision to the Confederation of African Football . Nine-time champions, Super Falcons have now secured a berth in the second round without kicking a ball.
The Nigerian girls will take on the winner of the tie between Cape Verde and Liberia in the second round.The Super Falcons finished in fourth position at the last edition of the competition also hosted by Morocco.
