2023: “You’re mentally unfit, step down”, Atiku’s camp tells Tinubu via politicsngr

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Shaibu was reacting to a tweet by Festus Keyamo , the official spokesperson for Tinubu and the APC 2023 Presidential Campaign Council , who asked the PDP to apologise to Nigerians for mocking his principal.

Keyamo, also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, criticised Senator Dino Melaye, one of the presidential spokespersons of the PDP campaign organisation; and Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State who is the Vice-Presidential candidate of the PDP.at the PDP mega rally held at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State on Tuesday. At the event, Melaye who was the Master of Ceremony , portrayed a sick Tinubu and mocked him by collapsing.

Dancing, Melaye sang “Emi lokan” a song which was popularised by the Pyrates Confraternity last year . The song derided Tinubu. Tinubu, 70, is a colossal politician in Nigeria, but the opposition and critics have persistently questioned his health status. Obama’s rival in 2008 US election, Sen. McCain had a deformity in one hand. Obama’s team showed him respect & NEVER mocked him for it. But here, a VP candidate laughs as a clown falls on stage to mock another candidate. It’s the height of imbecility. They owe Nigerians an apology
