2023: Why Peter Obi left PDP for Labour Party – Keyamo via politicsngr
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Keyamo, also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, said Obi and the Labour Party are only disguising themselves as ‘new breeds’.
“For the records, Peter Obi did not leave PDP out of principles; he left out of personal frustration when he was muzzled out. “That is why he has been likened to a mentally challenged person who is just moved to a new facility and promptly declared to be fit without rehabilitation. That is an insult to millions of Nigerians,” Keyamo toldObi was the governor of Anambra State between 2006 and 2014 under the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance .The former governor was a presidential aspirant of the PDP this year.
He announced his resignation from the PDP, a few days before the party’s presidential primary, saying there were practices in the party that were inconsistent with his “belief and persona”.Adeola Bodunrin
