2023 Presidency: “Your projection very warped” – Keyamo to PDP via politicsngr
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that ahead of the February 25 presidential election, the PDP PCC explained on Monday how Atiku Abubakar, its presidential candidate, will win.
The Director of Strategic Communications, PDP PCC, Dele Momodu, in a statement, said the APC Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, cannot depend totally on votes from outside his home base to win the forthcoming election. Momodu pointed out that Atiku would dominate the North-East, North-West, North-Central and South-South, while Tinubu might pick a few states in the North and South-West but won’t have enough to win.
But reacting to this permutation, Keyamo, also the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, wrote on his verified Twitter handle: “PDP’s 2023 projection is very warped: it hopes to do well in the ‘traditional PDP States’, but APC will not do well in its own traditional ‘APC States’. They project tribalism will tilt it in their favour in certain areas, but same tribalism will not tilt it for others. Laughable.
