News 2023 Polls: Court Asked To Order IGP To Provide Tight Security For Obi
The plaintiff, Mr Ken Eluma Asogwa, prayed the court to declare that Mr Obi is entitled to be protected from harm and danger in the build up to the presidential elections.
Apart from the IGP, others joined in the suit are the director-general of DSS and the attorney general of federation. In the suit dated January 13, 2023, the plaintiff, through his lawyer, C.C. Agidi Esq, prayed the court for the following reliefs: A declaration that the respondents were negligent and breached their professional duties in allowing a mammoth crowd surround Mr. Peter Gregory Obi at a very close proximity at a campaign rally in Enugu, Enugu State.
