With less than 60 days to the presidential election, the National Director of Publicity of the Northern Elders Forum, NEF, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has warned
Baba-Ahmed warned that Obi’s supporters might frustrate election in the Southeast where he is “strongest.”
Baba-Ahmed issued the caution while reacting to a Twitter user who wrote: “If Obi gets involved in negotiating IPOB then people will still say he is their sponsor. Reacting, Baba-Ahmed tweeted: “Supporters of Obi should help him lower level of violence in East. They are human beings doing this. They are de-marketing him, creating the impression that he has serious local opposition. They could frustrate election where he is strongest.
