The Governor, in a statement to mark the celebration of Eid-el-Maulud, reminded them of the need to come out and be politically active during the periods ahead of the election.
“The Holy Prophet Muhammad had lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation by all adherents of the religion. I am calling all on them to use the occasion of the prophet’s birth and reflect on the essential lessons of his life and times,” he said. He explained that the Prophet’s servitude, exemplary conduct, and leadership qualities should serve as the righteous path which every leader and follower would want to follow.
