Abba Yusuf, governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 elections, and Aminu Abdulsalam, his running mate, have defected to the New Nigeria Peoples Party .The former PDP aspirant announced his decision at a ceremony held in Gwale LGA of the state said PDP.
He also said there is no difference between PDP and the All Progressives Congress , adding that his decision to dump the opposition party was as a result of “the yearning of teeming supporters”.He also said he was positive that the NNPP will “ensure that the yearnings and aspirations of teeming people will be actualised”.
