Olusegun Bamgbose, National Coordinator, Concerned Advocates for Good Governance, CAGG, has said that he has authentic information about President
Muhammadu Buhari’s plan to release Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Sunday Igboho, Yoruba Nation campaigner, soon.Speaking authoritatively, Bamgbose said that the clampdown on Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader, and Sunday Igboho, will soon be over.
Bamgbose said that Buhari has been told by his allies that clamping down on the highly popular agitators will adversely affect the fortunes of the All Progressives Congress, APC in 2023. “Some top politicians think that considering that 2022 will be the kickstart of the electioneering campaign for the 2023 general elections, it will be ideal to release them this year.
