Head coach, Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire, Jean-Louis Gasset has acknowledged the attacking prowess of the Super Eagles. Gasset's men were pitted with the Super Eagles in Group A of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau are the other teams in the group.
With a dreaded attack that boasts of the likes of Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Taiwo Awoniyi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Terem Moffi, the Super Eagles will head into Cote d'Ivoire 2023 as one of the favourites.
Gasset stated that coming up against the Super Eagles will be a good motivation for his team. 'We've made up our minds now. We know what we're going to work on, 'Gasset was quoted by CAFonline. 'Facing a team like Nigeria and their attacking prowess motivates us because we're not looking for the easy way out. We'll be supported by an entire nation, which is an incredible asset”.
