KIT SCANDAL…Team Nigeria appeared in the worst outfit among participating countries at the Opening Ceremony of the ongoing Olympics. They appeared in their track suits instead of the outfit showcased before President Muhammadu Buhari at the handing over ceremony at the Presidential Villa prior to their departure.

Others include; Commonwealth Games Wrestling Champion in the 53kg category, Odunayo Adekuoroye, Blessing Oborodudu and Nathaniel Glory Onome , Nathaniel Samson . “These 11 athletes were carefully selected out of the numerous applications from Nigerian athletes home and abroad. He said that this would ease the burden on the Federal Government, sports federations and individual athletes as they prepare for the Tokyo 2020 Games.
